This page is to update my regular trade and retail customers of new stock that has been purchased in the last month.

3rd Jan 2012. 18 kilograms of mixed foreign coins ranging in date from the 1860s to the 1960s, this bulk collection is available for purchase at 8.50 per kilogramme in the shop.
3rd Jan 2012. A shoebox of 1940s and 1950s theatre and ice hockey programmes all from London areas.
4th Jan 2012. A suitcase of mainly modern postcards ranging in date from the 1950s to the 1980s many British and foreign views, I have made these up into box lots containing about 600 postcards at just 15.00 per box (that's just 2.5 pence each. ( shop callers only)
4th Jan 2012. Five kilograms of pre 1947 British silver coinage (this has already been sold) pre 1947 and pre 1920 British silver coinage always purchased.
6th Jan 2012. 160 First World War embroidered silk postcards.
6th Jan 2012. 65 different 1940s and 1950s British speedway enamel badges.
6th Jan 2012. A large postcard album containing mainly 1910/20s, topographical postcards of Kent, Sussex and South London postcards.
8th Jan 2012. Two plastic crates of British and foreign and British coins housed in plastic albums, most of it rubbish which will be sold by the kilo but a few dozen coins managed to get into my individual priced coin stock.
12th Jan 2012. A large envelope of interesting postcards that was posted to me by a lady in Durham.
12th Jan 2012. A suitcase full of old photographs and ephemera and other interesting paperwork discovered by some lucky man that purchased a house and found it in the loft, he was going to skip the lot until he found my web site and he was most pleased with the £180.00 which I paid him.
13th Jan 2012. An album from the 1920s containing mainly children art cards, by artists like Attwell, Chloe Preston and some Bonzo by George Studdy.
13th Jan 2012. A cake tin full of British coins, half crowns, florins, shillings, sixpences, three penny bits in brass and silver as well as copper pennies and half pennies.
16th Jan 2012. Several lots of postcards turned up today, some good real photographic cards of Wanstead, Walthamstow and Leytonstone.
18th Jan 2012. Eleven Rupert annuals from the 1950s and early 1960s all in very good condition.
18th Jan 2012. A small but very good collection of tobacco tins from prior the Second World War.
19th Jan 2012. A good collection of old advertising postcards including Tucks Celebrated Posters and some petrol advert postcards.
20th Jan 2012. 35 albums of stamps, a bit scruffy but these sell well in the shop to people that are fairly new to the hobby of stamp collecting.
22nd Jan 2012. A small collection of British banknotes including Bradbury and Warren Fisher.
22nd Jan 2012. Aprox 200 postcards of Southend on Sea and Leigh on Sea in Essex.
24th Jan 2012. Large accumulation of postcards, stamps and coins including a fair quantity of modern silver proof issues.
24th Jan 2012. A very large collection of post war 1950s and 1960s black and white town and village views from all over England, including Essex, London, Kent, Sussex and Cheshire.
25th Jan 2012. A large box of football programmes from the 1960s ( already sold)
27th Jan 2012. A large shoebox filled with Edwardian postcards and a good selection of Victorian carte de visite and Cabinet photographs.
27th Jan 2012. An attic find containing over 200 stereo views from the U.K and U.S.A, flat and curved views all in very good condition.
30th Jan 2012. A selection of small antiques including cork screws, vestas, pen knives, Victorian ceramics, silver and silver plate items.
Items are brought into the shop everyday and the above list is just a snippet of the larger collections that come in.
Thank you to all of you, that have taken the time to sort out your lofts and cupboards, business is very good at the moment and my customers are always seeking new items to add to their collections, so demand is higher than normal, so please keep bringing in your items.

The vintage postcard shop does not sell at any fairs, on the internet or mail order, however the shop is open and fully manned by the owner (Chris) to serve your collecting needs or make you cash offers for all types of old postcards, paper ephemera, small antiques, militaria, medals, badges, coins, banknotes and all manor of other collectables, that you may have for sale.
